ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SUMMER AT THE TRIUMVIRATE

The Triumvirate Theatre had a wonderful summer. Our three major productions kept things hopping on the stage and continued our mission to educate kids and provide quality entertainment for the community.

Fish On!
This highly entertaining and educational program was sponsored by Kenai River Sportfishing Association. It featured the talents of J.R. Cox and Paul Morin who received scholarships from KRSA to perform in and promote the show. The show was a delightful mix of important information about conservation of the river and entertaining skits about how to fish for salmon. The show concluded with live music and a parody of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” featuring the amazing skills of Paul on his fiddle. The show was well received by the community and visitors. The performers were also invited to entertain at the Kenai River Classic held in Soldotna.

Annie
The Triumvirate continued its tradition of providing quality performing arts education to kids in the community with their drama camp production of Annie. Directed by Paul Morin and Stefanie Bouchard, the Broadway hit came to life on the Triumvirate stage. The production played to sold-out crowds and it was evident from the faces of the cast that they had a great time. Scholarships for some of the kids to attend the camp were provided by the City of Soldotna. DVD’s of the production are available. Please contact us by email for more information.

On the Same Frequency
An enjoyable college spoof performed by many of our well-known actors, On the Same Frequency proved to be a fun blast from the past. Originally produced in 2001, this show was revisited by our talented cast. It’s always fun to gather a cast of local kids who are up for the summer from college to do some light, entertaining theatre. We love to reconnect with these talented people and the community always enjoys their talents. We wish all of them a successful school year as they continue to attend their studies in colleges across the country.
